Pixumbra Studio is developed by Hasnain Studio X with a local-first, privacy-first design philosophy.
Every instrument, including cutout, enlarge, portrait repair and clean, runs on your own machine. The app needs no internet connection to work on a picture.
Pixumbra Studio does not collect, store, or send any of the following:
No name, email, phone number, address, or identifiers.
No telemetry, crash analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
No picture you open, nothing the app writes out from it, and none of the recipes or credit lines you set up.
No passwords, tokens, credentials, browsing history, or system logs.
No GPS, IP-based location, or device location.
We do not run servers, so nothing can be uploaded even by accident.
Your ground, accent, engine choices, worker count, credit line and output folder are saved in a small settings file on your own PC.
Pictures are read from wherever you opened them and written to the output folder you choose. The app keeps no copy of its own and transmits nothing.
Saved recipes are plain text files beside the settings. If something goes wrong, the app writes a single local text file describing the fault so the problem can be looked at. Neither is ever transmitted.
Managed entirely by the Microsoft Store. The app reads it locally; we receive nothing.
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it.
Pixumbra Studio is a paid app with a free Microsoft Store trial. All licensing, payments, and transactions are handled exclusively by Microsoft.
Pixumbra Studio declares only internet access, used for the Store licence check, and the full trust desktop capability it needs to read and write picture files. Nothing else.
Only when you open a picture, choose a folder to run on, or save a result. The app never scans your drives in the background.
Cutting out subjects, enlarging, repairing faces, clearing speckle, grading, marking and converting all run on your own PC, on your processor or your graphics card. Your pictures are never sent anywhere to be processed.
Used only for the Microsoft Store licence check. The app makes no other outbound connection, and needs no internet to work on a picture.
Pixumbra Studio is a general-purpose picture tool. It is not directed to children under 13 and does not collect any data from any user.
If this policy changes, we will update the version and effective date. Any changes will remain consistent with our core principle: Your data stays on your device.
