• Prayer times, the qibla bearing and the Islamic calendar are calculated on your phone from your coordinates.
• Your location and every record of your practice stay on your device.
• There is no account, no advertising and no analytics or crash reporting service.
• We have no servers that store your data.
• We do not sell, share or monetise user data.

Personal Identity

No name, email, phone number, address or account.

Your Location

Your coordinates are used on the device for prayer times and the qibla. They are never sent to us or to any other service.

Your Worship and Reading

Prayers you mark, dhikr you count, ayahs you read or memorise and every other record of your practice stay on your device.

Advertising and Usage

No ads, no advertising ID, and no record of which screens you open or how often you use the app.

Location and Settings

Your coordinates, whether read from the device or entered by you, and your language, calculation method, Asr method, high latitude rule, corrections, Hijri offset, theme and accent.

Quran Reading

Your last read ayah, bookmarks, memorised ayahs, reciter and playback choices, and surahs you download for offline recitation.

Worship and Learning

Your prayer tracker and qada counts, Ramadan log, hifz plan and review schedule, khatm plan, adhkar counters and favourite duas, hadith bookmarks, the 99 Names you learn and quiz scores, Hajj and Umrah checklist, saved zakat calculations, streaks, dhikr goal and Friday checklist.

Alerts, Widgets and Downloads

The alerts you turn on and the schedule prepared from your prayer times, the prayer times your home screen widgets show, and hadith, word by word and tafsir content you have opened, kept for offline use.

Pro Licence State

Whether Pro was validated, when it was last checked and its Google Play purchase token, kept in Android's encrypted keystore backed storage so Pro works offline.

Purchase Verification

When you buy or restore Pro, and about once a week while Pro is active, the app sends the Google Play purchase token, the product id and the app's package name to our verification service, which checks the purchase with Google Play. No personal data or location is included. The service stores nothing itself; its host, Supabase, keeps short operational request logs.

Quran Recitation

Verse by verse audio streams from EveryAyah.com. For full surah recitation the app asks for the surah's recording address and ayah timings, then plays the recording from download.quranicaudio.com. Downloaded surahs play without any request.

Quran Study (Pro)

Word by word meanings, transliteration and tafsir come from the Quran Foundation content API through a small relay we operate, which only adds the API credentials and passes the request on; if the relay is unreachable the app asks api.quran.com directly. Word audio streams from audio.qurancdn.com. Requests carry only the surah or ayah asked for. The relay stores nothing itself; its host, Supabase, keeps short operational request logs.

Hadith Collections

40 Hadith Nawawi and 40 Hadith Qudsi are bundled. Other collections download from cdn.jsdelivr.net, which serves an openly licensed hadith dataset, when you open or download them.

Fonts

The app's typefaces, including the Quran fonts, download once from Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com) and are cached on the device.

Links You Tap

Links to our website, email or Google Play open only when you tap them.

Pro is a one time purchase handled entirely by Google Play.

• Card and payment details never reach the app or us.
• We do not receive your Google account information.
• On start the app asks Google Play which purchases this account owns, so a refunded purchase is removed. This check happens between your phone and Google Play.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy.

Location

Approximate and precise location power prayer times and the qibla. Read only when you ask, stored on the device, never sent. Without it you can enter your coordinates by hand.

Internet

Purchase verification, recitation, study content, hadith collections and fonts in section 4.

Notifications and Alarms

Show the prayer alerts and reminders you turn on, at the exact time. Android asks the first time you enable an alert. Every alert is prepared on the device.

Run at Startup

Restores your scheduled alerts and home screen widgets after the phone restarts or the app updates.

Camera

Used only by the Qibla camera view to draw the Kaaba direction over your surroundings. Android asks when you open it. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent.

Wear OS Watch

If you use the watch tiles, the phone sends the coming days' prayer times to your paired watch over the Wear OS connection. It stays between your phone and watch.

IslamHub is a general audience app. It is not directed to children under 13 and we collect no data from any user.

This policy applies to IslamHub 1.0.0 and later, effective 7 Oct 2026. When the app's data behaviour changes, we update this page, its version and its effective date in the same release.
