Privacy Policy

HSX NanoPilot is developed by Hasnain Studio X with a local‑first, privacy‑first design philosophy. It lets a phone you allow control this PC; the screen, input and files travel between your two devices.

1. Overview

HSX NanoPilot lets your phone, running HSX NanoKnot, see this PC's screen and use its mouse, keyboard, files, media and power. It is built with a local-first, privacy-first design philosophy.

  • We do not collect personal data.
  • The screen, your input and files travel encrypted between your phone and your PC, never through our storage.
  • A phone needs the link code to ask, and your approval at the PC to connect.
  • We do not sell, share, or monetize user data.

An indicator stays on the PC screen for as long as a phone is in control.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

HSX NanoPilot does not collect, store, or send us any of the following:

Personal Identity Data

No name, email, phone number, address, or account.

Usage Data or Analytics

No telemetry, crash analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs of any kind.

Your Screen and Files

The picture and sound of your PC, the files you open or send, what you type, and any commands you run in the remote terminal go only to the phone you allowed.

Sensitive System Data

Window titles, running apps, volume, and clipboard text and pictures are read only when your allowed phone asks for them or you turn on clipboard sync, and are sent only to that phone.

Location Data

No GPS, IP-based location, or device location.

Our signaling channel only introduces your phone and PC to each other; it relays connection setup and stores nothing.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

App Settings

Your theme, accent and motion preference, saved locally under your user profile only.

Link Code and Allowed Phones

This PC's link code, and for each phone you allow its random id, its name, a device key that proves it is that phone, and when it last connected. Remove a phone on the Phone page, or make a new link code to remove them all.

Received Files

Files your phone sends are saved to Downloads\NanoPilot as ordinary files you can move or delete.

Scheduled Actions

Actions you plan from your phone, with their time and the phone that planned them. Removing that phone or making a new link code deletes them.

Local Trial or Licence State

Managed entirely by the Microsoft Store. The app reads it locally; we receive nothing.

This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling HSX NanoPilot removes everything except the files saved to Downloads.

4. Microsoft Store Licensing

HSX NanoPilot is a paid app with a Microsoft Store managed free trial. All licensing, payments, and transactions are handled exclusively by Microsoft.

  • We do not process payment information.
  • We do not store payment details.
  • We do not receive your Microsoft account information.

5. App Permissions

Minimum Required

HSX NanoPilot runs as a full trust desktop app so an allowed phone can move the mouse, type, open files and use power actions. Launch at startup stays off until you switch it on.

File Access

Your allowed phone can browse, open, download and delete files you can reach on this PC, only while it is connected and only when you act on the phone.

On-Device Processing

Screen capture, input and file reading happen on your PC and go straight to the phone, encrypted. Hardware details shown in Settings are read locally and never sent.

Network Access

Browser control: NanoPilot serves its control page only to devices on your own local network, and only signaling passes through it; the link code is never sent and the session itself is encrypted between the browser and the PC. You can turn browser control off in Settings.

Used for the Microsoft Store licence check and the phone link: a Supabase Realtime channel named from the link code (never the code itself) carries signed one time values, the phone's id and name and network addresses; Google STUN servers report the public address; when a network blocks a direct path the free Open Relay service (Metered) may carry the encrypted stream without being able to read it. No data is sent to Hasnain Studio X.

6. Children's Privacy

HSX NanoPilot is a general-purpose utility tool. It is not directed to children under 13 and does not collect any data from any user.

7. Policy Updates

If this policy changes, we will update the version and effective date. Any changes will remain consistent with our core principle: Your data stays between your own devices.
