Privacy Policy

HSX GlowCraft Pro edits your photos on your phone. Your photos, edits and exports stay on the device. There is no account, no cloud, no ads and no analytics of ours.

1. Overview

Editing, detection and export all run on your phone.
Your photos and everything you make from them never leave the device unless you share them yourself.
There is no account, no advertising and no analytics service of ours. Google's on device ML Kit sends Google limited diagnostic data, described in section 4.
We have no servers that store your data.
We do not sell, share or monetise user data.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

HSX GlowCraft Pro does not collect, store on a server, or send us any of the following:

Personal Identity

No name, email, phone number, address or account.

Your Photos

Photos, faces found in them, edits, looks and exports stay on your phone.

Advertising and Usage

No ads, no advertising ID, and no record of how you use the app.

Location, Contacts, Camera

The app has no location, contacts, camera or photo library permission. Photos come through Android's photo picker, and camera shots through your camera app.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

Projects and Recovery

A private copy of each photo you open, so a project always reopens against its original, plus your edit layers, timeline and an automatic recovery copy of the edit in progress.

Looks and Lookups

Looks you save and colour lookup files you import or export.

Exports

Exported photos are written to Pictures / HSX GlowCraft Pro, where your gallery can see them, and listed in the Library. Camera and exposure details are kept; location is kept only when you choose to keep it.

Settings and Pro State

Your preferences, and whether Pro was validated with its Google Play purchase token, kept in Android's encrypted keystore backed storage so Pro works offline.

Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes everything in its private storage. Photos saved to Pictures stay until you delete them.

4. Network Requests and Third Party Services

Purchase Verification

When you buy or restore Pro, and about once a week while Pro is active, the app sends the Google Play purchase token, the product id and the app's package name to our verification service, which checks the purchase with Google Play. No personal data or photo is included. The service stores nothing itself; its host, Supabase, keeps short operational request logs.

Google ML Kit

Face detection and person selection use Google's ML Kit models bundled in the app; your photos are processed on the device and never sent. ML Kit sends Google device and app information, performance and error details, and the features used, for diagnostics and analytics of the SDK.

Google Play

Purchases, restores and the refund check run through Google Play on your device.

Fonts

The app's typefaces and the fonts for the text tool download from Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com) the first time they are used and are cached. Google sees your IP address for those downloads.

Links You Tap

Links to our website, email or Google Play open only when you tap them.

These are the only network requests the app makes. All of them use encrypted HTTPS, and none carries your photos.

5. Google Play Purchases

Pro is a one time purchase handled entirely by Google Play.

Card and payment details never reach the app or us.
We do not receive your Google account information.
On start the app asks Google Play which purchases this account owns, so a refunded purchase is removed. This check happens between your phone and Google Play.
Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy.

6. App Permissions

Internet and Network State

Purchase verification, ML Kit diagnostics and fonts in section 4.

Storage (Android 9 and older)

Saving exports into your Pictures folder. Asked the first time you save; newer Android versions need no permission for this.

Google Play Billing

The one time Pro purchase.

That is every permission. Picking photos uses Android's photo picker and needs no permission.

7. Children's Privacy

HSX GlowCraft Pro is a general audience app. It is not directed to children under 13 and we collect no data from any user.

8. Policy Changes

This policy applies to HSX GlowCraft Pro 2.1.0 and later, effective 7 Oct 2026. When the app's data behaviour changes, we update this page, its version and its effective date in the same release.

9. Copyright and Tamper Protection

HSX GlowCraft Pro, its source code, design, brand identity, and all associated assets are protected by copyright. Reverse engineering, repackaging, decompiling, modifying signed builds, or redistributing the APK or AAB without written authorisation is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action under applicable copyright and computer misuse legislation.

Only builds published to Google Play under the publisher account "Hasnain Butt Akhtar / Hasnain Studio X" are genuine. Side loaded or third party builds are unauthorised and unsupported.
