Privacy Policy

HSX WriteDesk is developed by Hasnain Studio X with a local‑first, privacy‑first design philosophy. Every word you give it is rewritten on your own PC and never leaves your device.

1. Overview

HSX WriteDesk is developed by Hasnain Studio X with a local-first, privacy-first design philosophy.

  • We do not collect personal data.
  • We do not transmit any data to external servers.
  • We do not operate servers for our apps.
  • We do not sell, share, or monetize user data.

All writing and all processing happen locally on your device.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

HSX WriteDesk does not collect, store, or send any of the following:

Personal Identity Data

No name, email, phone number, address, or identifiers.

Usage Data or Analytics

No telemetry, crash analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.

Your Content or Files

None of the text you paste or type, none of the documents you open, and nothing the app writes from them.

Sensitive System Data

No passwords, tokens, credentials, browsing history, or system logs.

Location Data

No GPS, IP-based location, or device location.

Your Writing

No text you paste or type is collected, uploaded, retained after the session, or used to train anything.

We do not run servers, so nothing can be uploaded even by accident.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

App Settings

Your preferences, theme, accent, and output folder are saved locally on your device only.

Everything You Make

Nothing you write is saved. The text you paste, any document you open, and the results the app produces are held in memory for the session only, and are gone when you close the app. A document you open is read only and is never modified. Results are written to a file only when you choose Save as and pick the location yourself.

Local Cache

Your chosen mode, accent, and the switches on the Settings page, stored in a small local settings file. Nothing else is kept.

Local Trial or Licence State

Managed entirely by the Microsoft Store. The app reads it locally; we receive nothing.

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it.

4. Microsoft Store Licensing

HSX WriteDesk is a paid app with a free Microsoft Store trial. All licensing, payments, and transactions are handled exclusively by Microsoft.

  • We do not process payment information.
  • We do not store payment details.
  • We do not receive your Microsoft account information.

5. App Permissions

Minimum Required Only

HSX WriteDesk requests only the minimum permissions required for core functionality. Permissions are used solely for app features and never for data collection.

File Access

Only the text you hand it: pasted in, typed, opened with the file picker, dropped onto the window, or selected when you press the quick rewrite shortcut. It never reads your screen, and never opens a file you did not choose.

On-Device Processing

Every action - drafting, rewriting, shortening, expanding, changing tone and working through a long document section by section - runs on your own PC using its CPU and graphics card. Your text is never sent anywhere to be processed.

Network Access

Used only for the Microsoft Store licence check. The app makes no other outbound connection, and needs no internet at all to rewrite your text.

6. Children's Privacy

HSX WriteDesk is a general-purpose creative tool. It is not directed to children under 13 and does not collect any data from any user.

7. Policy Updates

If this policy changes, we will update the version and effective date. Any changes will remain consistent with our core principle: Your data stays on your device.
