All processing happens locally on your device.
HSX AI Browser does not collect, store, or send any of the following:
No name, email, phone number, address, or identifiers.
No telemetry, crash analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
No prompts, text, images, files, or anything you create inside the app.
No passwords, tokens, credentials, browsing history, or system logs.
No GPS, IP-based location, or device location.
We do not run servers, so nothing can be uploaded even by accident.
Your preferences and configuration are saved locally on your device only.
Saved prompts, notes, or any content you create stays on your device and is never transmitted.
Temporary performance cache stored locally and never transmitted.
Managed entirely by the Microsoft Store. The app reads it locally; we receive nothing.
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.
Summaries, key point extraction, tone rewriting, drafting, page comparison and research mode all work the same way.
The model that reads a page and writes the summary is a file installed with the app on your own machine. It runs on your hardware.
The page you are reading, the passage you ask to be rewritten and the report research mode produces are handled entirely on this PC. None of it is sent to us or to anybody else.
There is nothing to sign in to and no API key to enter, because there is no external AI service involved.
A summary exists while you are looking at it. Nothing you generate is retained, logged, or used to train anything.
Honesty about the one thing a browser cannot avoid, and the protections that limit it.
Loading a page means your computer contacts that website, which learns your IP address the same as with any browser. That is how the web works and no browser can change it. It is a connection between you and that site; nothing passes through us.
Requests to known advertising and tracking hosts are blocked before they are made, so those companies never hear from you at all.
The signals a site reads to identify your machine are reduced, and the paths that commonly leak your real address around a connection are closed off.
Connections are upgraded to encrypted ones where a site supports it, and address lookups are sent over an encrypted connection to the resolver set in Settings rather than in plain text across your network.
Your history, bookmarks, cookies, passwords and cache stay in your profile on this PC. There is no cloud sync, because there is no cloud.
HSX AI Browser may offer free trials, one-time purchases, or durable add-ons (lifetime unlocks). All licensing, payments, and transactions are handled exclusively by Microsoft.
HSX AI Browser requests only the minimum permissions required for core functionality. Permissions are used solely for app features and never for data collection.

Used only for the features below, and even then, no data is sent to us. Address bar suggestions query DuckDuckGo's autocomplete with the text you type (switchable off in Settings). Site icons load directly from each site. The optional one-click Speed Test sends and receives test data with Cloudflare's public speed-test network, only while a test is running. The optional per-entry breach-check in Passwords sends a 5-character partial hash of a password (never the password itself) to the Have I Been Pwned Pwned Passwords API, only when you click "Check for breaches." Every other feature runs entirely on your device.
HSX AI Browser is a general-purpose productivity/utility tool. It is not directed to children under 13 and does not collect any data from any user.
If this policy changes, we will update the version and effective date. Any changes will remain consistent with our core principle: Your data stays on your device.
